Youth Resource Development Program (YRDP) was formally initiated in October 1992 and legally registered with the Ministry of the Interior (MoI) in 1999 in the field of civic and peace education, and youth empowerment. The main goal of YRDP is to empower youth to become active responsible citizens with a better quality of life through taking concrete initiative actions and motivating others to promote sustainable peace, justice, and promotion of democratic society.
Currently, we are seeking for national candidates to fulfill the vacant positions below:
Program Manager for Public Relation and Social Sensitization. This position is expected to start as soon as possible with a salary between USD 1,349.00 to USD 1,491.00.
Main Responsibilities:
• Manage and make sure all publication materials/contents reflect YRDP vision and mission before they are published,
• Make sure the communication flow within YRDP works smoothly and written communication style is consistent within YRDP;
• Communicate and build network with media practitioners both national and international levels to promote YRDP and its programs;
• Produce mid-term and annual reports for publication and communication program;
• Work closely with M&E staff for evaluating the program operation and achievement;
• Ensure the overall management of the program/department is well implemented;
• Be responsible for managerial role as a member of executive committee;
• Work as fundraising committee and work with program staff to develop program proposals;
• Be representative of YRDP in external participation as required, especially in technical aspects under the assignment of Executive Director; and
• Oversee all staff and program assistant volunteers for this program and participate in organization staff’s performance evaluation and meetings.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in project management and/or multi-media programming,
• At least five years proven communication project management skills local or international NGOs or other institutions;
• Proven experience in managing budget and writing reports/proposals;
• At least five years of experience in leadership and human resource management;
• Background in multi-media production such as video, audio, social media and print media;
• Good time management and task prioritization skills;
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to meet deadline;
• Good written and oral communications skills in English and Khmer;
• Background working with young people is highly desirable;
• Demonstrate achievement using social media to communicate and engage target audience;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality as part of management team;
• Understand and agree with YRDPs philosophy, vision and serving leadership approach;
• Strong team player; and
• Motivated to work with youth/YRDP target group;
