Job Announcement Information technology Officer

Youth Resource Development Program (YRDP) was formally initiated in October 1992 and legally registered with the Ministry of the Interior (MoI) in 1999 in the field of civic and peace education, and youth empowerment. The main goal of YRDP is to empower youth to become active responsible citizens with a better quality of life through taking concrete initiative actions and motivating others to promote sustainable peace, justice, and promotion of democratic society.

Currently, we are seeking for national candidates to fulfill the vacant positions below:

Information technology Officer. This position is expected to start as soon as possible with a salary between USD 677.00 to USD 752.00.

Main Responsibilities:

Network and System Administration: 

• Manage and maintain the organization’s computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure. 

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operations. 

• Conduct regular system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures. 

User Support: 

• Provide technical support to all staff members, addressing hardware and software issues promptly. 

• Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up their IT accounts and providing necessary training. 

• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets. 

MS 365 Administration: 

• Administer and manage the organization’s Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other associated services. 

• Configure and maintain MS 365 security settings, compliance policies, and data loss prevention measures. 

Collaboration and Communication: 

• Manage and optimize collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among staff members. 

• Facilitate the integration of MS 365 applications with other productivity tools used within the organization.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce security best practices within the MS 365 environment. 

• Monitor and respond to security alerts, conduct security audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 

Training and Documentation:

• Provide training sessions and documentation for end-users on MS 365 applications and IT systems. 

• Create and maintain documentation for MS 365 configurations, IT processes, and best practices.  

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IT systems, configurations, and procedures. 

• Create user guides and training materials as needed. 

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Act as the primary point of contact for IT and MS 365-related issues, providing timely and effective resolution. 

• Collaborate with IT staff of other institutions to address broader IT infrastructure issues affecting MS 365 services. 

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions. 

• Collaborate with external IT vendors for support and procurement of IT-related services.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 

• Proven experience as an IT Officer or in a similar role. 

• Strong knowledge of network and system administration, hardware, and software. 

• Familiarity with IT security best practices. 

• Familiarity with officer 365 and Microsoft azure. 

• In-depth knowledge of MS 365 security and compliance features. 

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
