The Publication and Communication program (PC program)

Public Relation and Social Sensitization (PReSS) is one of the four programs of the organization. PReSS is playing a critical role in YRDP to ensure a smooth online information flow and operation of all social media channels of organization. In addition, the PReSS also has the position in providing online technical support to other program operation towards achieving the overall goal of the organization.

 

PReSS aims to use the achievement, values, influence, potential of youth to sensitize/echo public and stakeholders through online tools/platform.

 

To reach this objective, the significant achievements, lesson learned, best practices, common values, influence and potential of YRDP youth are​ required to publicize through different online tools/platforms to ignite and sensitize public especially young people to exercise their rights for promoting positive social change.

 

The responsible staff are required to work closely with other programs staff to organize radio talk show both audio and online video, and produce publication and documentaries about best practices of youth for public sensitization. In addition, youth are offered a capacity building on social media, digital security and rights, code of ethics for online

users, and online art advocacy. At the same time, YRDP works with existing and like-minded networks and strategic partners in order to make a great contribution to the achievement of the objective.
