The Youth Resource Development Program (YRDP) is a leading local youth organization in Cambodia, firmly established in the field of civic and peace education and youth empowerment. Since its inception in 1992 and formal registration in 1998, YRDP has grown into a vital player with significant impact at the grass roots level as well as on the regional and national policy stage, advocating for youth’s interests. YRDP’s goal is to empower youth to become committed and active citizens with a better quality of life through taking concrete initiative and motivating others for promoting sustainable peace, justice, and democratic society.

Currently, we are seeking for national candidates to fulfil the vacant positions as below:

PROJECT OFFICER OF PEACE BUILDING AND RECONCILIATION ENGAGEMENT FOR YOUTH (PBREY PROJECT OFFICER), Salary Rang $370-$400 per month plus any benefits

Main Responsibilities
 Advance training curriculum and facilitate training on Khmer Rouge (KR) History and reconciliation for youth
 Prepare and organize youth dialogues with KR survivors in communities, involving experts and communicating with local authorities
 Develop topics and assist in producing talk shows for YRDPs Cam Youth Radio
 Organize art workshops and regular debate nights with youth
 Mentor youth participants in their transfer projects
 Coordinate and mentor volunteers in all cycles of projects
 Create budget plan, activity reports and annual donor report
 Mobilize and encourage youth to participate in project activities
 Build relationships with partners, stakeholders and donors
 Cooperate with M&E staff to monitor and evaluate implementation of the project activities
 Provide mentoring and coordination for project volunteers

Requirements/Qualifications
 Master or Bachelor degree, preferably in History, Laws, Psychology, Political or Social Science, International Relations, Philosophy, Education or Social work
 Minimum three years’ working experiences, preferably with NGO in the field of community development, youth empowerment, peace building or education
 Solid knowledge and/or proven interest in Cambodia’s recent history, peace and reconciliation work
 Proven experience in project management, confident in all phases of project cycle, incl. proposal and report writing and M&E
 First experience as a trainer and facilitator is an asset
 Strong English and fluent Khmer, both writing and speaking
 Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Data Base, Design, and Photoshop)
 Demonstrate strong team spirit and high motivation to work with youth
 Understand and agree with the philosophy and vision of YRDP
 Cambodian national
