The Youth Resource Development Program (YRDP) was initiated in 1992 as the Human Resource Development Program. In 1999 the Youth Resource Development Program registered with the Ministry of the Interior to become a local non –governmental organization. YRDP maintains a neutral political and is not affiliated with any political party or involved in any political activity. YRDP aims to support the development of Cambodian   civil society by addressing the lack of critical and analytical thinking skills among universities students. The organization provides non formal education and capacity faculties and institutions of higher education to develop their capacities strengthening opportunities for tertiary-level students form  universities, faculties and institutions of higher education to develop their capacities empowers students to reflect on this and act for change. YRDP seeks citizens and to be active members of society.
